Gilbert Burns reveals plans after retiring from the UFC.
After being knocked out by Mike Malott in the third round, Gilbert Burns confirmed his retirement and He has already outlined his next steps outside the octagon.. In an interview with the 'UFC on Paramount' team, the Brazilian stated that he intends to remain in the sport as a fighter manager, in addition to investing in social projects related to Jiu-Jitsu and dedicating more time to his family.
"I want to become an MMA manager; I believe I can do a great job. I know how to build a career. I also want to help young people through Jiu-Jitsu."
"I never thought about opening a gym, but I see friends changing the lives of children, and that's what I want to do too. I should be starting this project in South Florida soon. Now it's time to take care of my family, my children, and my wife," said Durinho.
