It took a while, but finally, Larissa Pacheco has found a new home in combat sports. If in October, the Brazilian, who reigned in the PFL and was a two-time champion, was surprisingly released by the organization, in April, she defined her future by signing with Karate Combat. The company itself announced the signing through its social networks last Sunday (19).

Furthermore, Larissa is already making good on her contract. The Brazilian, who is the only fighter to have defeated Kayla Harrison in MMA, will debut in Karate Combat against Julia Stasiuk on May 2nd in Miami (USA). The expectation is that, soon, the veteran, who will compete in the bantamweight division (61 kg), will be able to have a super fight against Aline Pereira, sister of Alex Poatan and champion of the flyweight division (up to 57 kg).

It's true that Larissa even appealed to Dana White, as she dreams of returning to the UFC. However, unfortunately for the Brazilian, the UFC president didn't comment on it. In any case, even having reached an agreement with Karate Combat, this negotiation doesn't prevent the athlete from being signed by the world's largest MMA organization in the future.

Larissa Pacheco , 31, has elevated women's MMA and the PFL to a new level. Within the organization, the Brazilian has become a force to be reckoned with, impressing with her knockout power. In the cage, she won the lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) and featherweight (up to 65,8 kg) tournaments in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Furthermore, the Paraense native inflicted Kayla Harrison 's first and only defeat in the sport, after losing two previous fights to Harrison.
