On the other hand, the Russian issued a warning about Poatan's physical adaptation. According to him, a possible change in pace or body weight could favor Gane's more technical and strategic style.

“If Poatan maintains the same distance control, he can catch Gane. But if he ends up getting a little too heavy, Gane can simply score better and win,” Sergei Pavlovich stated in an interview with Red Corner MMA.
