Anderson Silva's tormentor reveals offer for a Netflix trilogy: 'I'm in'

Winner of one of the most important rivalries in UFC history, Chris Weidman has no problem writing another chapter in his history with Anderson Silva , regardless of the sport. In an interview with the website 'MMA Fighting' this Friday (24), the former middleweight champion (up to 83 kg) revealed that he received a proposal to face the Brazilian as part of the first MMA card promoted by Most Valuable Promotions and broadcast by Netflix on May 16.

The American fighter made himself available to face Spider in a third MMA bout, but revealed he had asked for a large sum of money as payment for the trilogy. Even so, he made it clear he would be open to further negotiations.

“They contacted me about a fight with Anderson Silva in an MMA match. I said yes, but I warned my manager that it would cost more. So we asked for the highest possible amount of money and I didn't get any response (laughs). I would agree for the right amount of money. Anderson and I have done a lot in our careers and have been through a lot. We would love to be well paid for it. We'll see what happens, but I'm in,” he stated.

Chris Weidman is absolutely willing to run it back with Anderson Silva again for the right amount of money:

"Me and Anderson have done a lot in our careers and have been through a lot. We'd love to get paid good for that."
