Last Saturday (25), Dana White experienced an extremely dramatic situation, but laughed in the face of danger. Present at the 2026 White House Correspondents Association Dinner, held in Washington (USA), the UFC president surprised everyone by remaining calm during the shooting that shocked the world. Luckily, there were no fatalities and the shooter was apprehended.

Dana was invited by President Donald Trump to attend the event and was nearby when Secret Service and police officers stormed the venue after the shooter fired. Chaos immediately engulfed the Washington Hilton hotel ballroom, with most attendees crouching for cover. However, the UFC leader is different.

The UFC president detailed that the Secret Service members ordered everyone to stay down and expressed pride in having obeyed that order. Not satisfied with that, Dana "bragged," calling the moment incredible and unique. And, in fact, the UFC leader wasn't lying, because in one of the recordings of the incident, apparently after the shooter's arrest, he appeared sitting down, observing everything and laughing, as if nothing had happened.

UFC White House is still scheduled.

Despite the scare, neither Dana White nor Donald Trump commented on a possible postponement or even cancellation of the highly anticipated event. UFC White House, a historic event scheduled to take place on June 14th. The show features two championship fights.
