Caio Borralho managed to locate Dricus Du Plessis , but chose not to attend the meeting. On his way to Perth to accompany Carlos Prates , who fights next Saturday (2), the Brazilian made a stopover in South Africa and took the opportunity to provoke the former champion, stating that he was looking for him to force the signing of a contract. In response, the South African invited Borralho for a sparring session at his academy.
After declining the invitation and continuing his trip, Borralho was once again the target of taunts, this time from the rival team. In a social media post, the CIT Performance Institute mocked the situation by suggesting that the Brazilian would have difficulty finding the location and even offered a free trial lesson.

“Hey Caio Borralho . Google Maps can be a bit tricky sometimes, so we thought it best to save you the trouble. If you're interested in any of our beginner classes, you can schedule your free trial lesson via the link in our bio. Otherwise, see you on Friday at 9am,” wrote the Cit Performance Institute profile.

In an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS, Caio Borralho reiterated his desire to face Dricus Du Plessis and emphasized that, for him, the best fighters in the world need to face each other. In the Fighting Nerds athlete's view, a duel of this caliber would be fair to both the fans and the UFC itself.
“I would tell him that the best fighters in the world have to test themselves against each other. And we are among the best fighters in the world, and it's only fair for the fans, for the UFC, for those who enjoy the sport, that we also fight against each other, see who is the best and who wins,” pointed out Caio Borralho.
