After hearing from many that he wouldn't stand a chance against Azamat Murzakanov at UFC 327, now is the time for Paulo Borrachinha to get his revenge. In April, in Miami (USA), the Brazilian, who moved from middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) to light heavyweight (up to 93 kg), surprised and impressed against his rival, winning by knockout in the third round. As could be expected, the athlete continues to celebrate the important victory and didn't spare Glover Teixeira.
The controversy arose because the veteran, in his analysis of the fight on the 'Overdogs Brasil' YouTube channel, pointed to the Russian as the favorite and stated that Borrachinha would not only have trouble in the octagon, but would also tire. Not satisfied, Glover stressed that he does not support the athlete.

However, to the dismay of the former fighter and once UFC light heavyweight champion, the bad boy impressed in action, ending the undefeated streak of the feared Murzakanov. Therefore, Borrachinha criticized Glover for the mistake and mocked him, implying that he, at 46 years old and with several fights on his record, is not in his right mind.
“I received this video from some strangers, where this gentleman makes an extremely interesting prediction of how my fight with the Russian Azamat would go. I would like to know why they are sending me this and, if anyone knows this old man, tell him that he talked nonsense and age is not synonymous with wisdom. Tell him to try again next time 👍”, wrote the bad boy on his official account on 'X'.

Currently, the Minas Gerais native is ranked 15th in his weight class and number seven in the light heavyweight rankings.
In sports, the 'bad boy' built a record of 16 wins and four losses. His main victories were over Azamat Murzakanov , Johny Hendricks , Luke Rockhold , and Yoel Romero.
