The best fighter in Bellator history, Patrício Pitbull, was involved in a major controversy in less than 24 hours. Last Thursday (30), in Miami (USA), the athlete, seeing his brother Patricky arguing with Shahzaib Rind during the face-off to promote the fight at Karate Combat, clashed with him, starting a general brawl. On Friday (1st), the teams clashed again and staged an even bigger mess, which resulted in the cancellation of the duel at the event. Irritated, the UFC athlete exposed his version.

In an interview with the Instagram profile 'Full Violence', Patrício blamed Rind and the members of his team for the unfortunate incident, citing what he considered reckless behavior. According to the veteran, the members of the rival team lost all sense of danger, irresponsibly harming not only him and his brother with a tasteless prank.

In the fight, one of the wildest in recent times and which had a bit of everything, Patricky came out worse, suffering a cut above his eyebrow and being removed from the fight against the lightweight champion (up to 70 kg). In any case, Patrício showed no remorse for the regrettable scenes, as his honor and that of his people were at stake.

“We were in the hotel lobby, two guys came towards us and started throwing water at us. I told them, 'Hey, don't do that. I'm with my family.' They didn't stop, and to protect my honor, we fought in the street. He can fight this guy. I'm a UFC fighter. I can't do that, but I can fight him without lights, without cameras, man against man, let's go,” said the veteran.

“If I see someone trying to kick my brother and elbow him in the face, I’m going to beat those sons of bitches up. You can’t come at me, throw water in my wife’s face and expect me to do nothing. Fuck you, you son of a bitch,” he concluded.

Patricky wants a fight.

Just like Patrício, Patricky still harbors resentment. It's worth noting that the Brazilian was set to make his Karate Combat debut and, had he beaten Rind, would have become champion. However, due to the fight, the veteran withdrew from the bout, while the Pakistani fighter continued and brutally knocked out Andre Ewell , a former UFC fighter, with a high kick. After the regrettable scenes in the street, the former Bellator champion now wants to face his rival legally, at home.
