Khamzat Chimaev is aware of what he has to lose if he compromises the spectacle of UFC 328 , scheduled for next Saturday (9). The Wolf faces Sean Strickland in a duel valid for the middleweight title (up to 83,9 kg), surrounded by provocations and threats. Despite the hostile atmosphere between the protagonists, the Chechen seeks to avoid any out-of-control confusion and maintain focus exclusively on the confrontation inside the octagon.

In an interview with Adam Zubayraev, Chimaev downplayed his rival's provocations and stressed that he does not intend to get involved in off-campeal turmoil. The athlete highlighted the difficulty of dealing with chaotic situations outside the cage and reiterated that he intends to express his emotions only during the fight.

"That loudmouth talks too much, but nothing will happen. How are you supposed to fight with a hundred people around? We'll only show our emotions in the octagon," said Khamzat Chimaev.

Furthermore, Chimaev stated that he is focused on his professional career and achieving results, leaving behind impulsive behaviors of the past.

“I came here to make money. I got over that unprofessional phase a long time ago. I hope he gets in the octagon, and we both have a good performance. I hope we deliver a great fight for you guys,” concluded the Chechen wolf.
