Combat sports star Alex Poatan is happy not only with his own achievements, but also with those of his friends. And proof of this was his reaction to what happened at UFC 328. Present at the event held this Saturday (9), in New Jersey (USA), the Brazilian celebrated Sean Strickland 's surprising victory over Khamzat Chimaev by split decision in the main fight. With the shocking triumph, the American became middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) for the second time in his career.
Generally, Poatan tends to be reserved in his statements and gestures, but this time, alongside Plínio Cruz, his friend and coach, he didn't hide his happiness. And the reason can be explained. The Brazilian considers Strickland one of his main allies in MMA, and they constantly train together. In fact, the athlete even gave the bad boy tips on how to beat the feared Chimaev.

Furthermore, the renowned striker doesn't hold much sympathy for the Chechen, since the latter, in an attempt to lure him into a super fight, disrespected him more than once. Therefore, the veteran ended up killing two birds with one stone at the end of UFC 328.
