“The way I scored the main event, it was 2-2 before the last round and I thought Strickland won the fifth round… Sean looked really good. He has a strange style, difficult to face. He’s a tough guy, resilient, and he just doesn’t give up,” White stated during the post-event press conference for UFC 328.

During the press conference, Dana White also spoke about Khamzat Chimaev 's fighting style . Accustomed to dominating opponents through wrestling, the Russian spent more time exchanging blows standing up, something that caught the president's attention.

“The interesting thing is that, the first few times I saw him fight on Fight Island, he always talked a lot about his striking and his team. So I thought, ‘We haven’t really seen his striking against someone of a high level in a while.’ But I believe he had a complicated weight cut,” Dana analyzed.
