Sean Strickland sent a message to Khamzat Shimaev after the victory in UFC 328, held last Saturday (9), in New Jersey (USA). After defeating the Russian by split decision and regaining the middleweight belt (up to 83,9 kg)The American revealed a scene from the fifth round of the main fight in which he considered his rival's attitude a 'betrayal'.
During the post-event press conference, Strickland recounted that Chimaev signaled towards the center of the octagon as if he wanted to engage in a stand-up exchange of blows in the final moments of the fight. However, according to the champion, it all turned out to be part of a takedown attempt by his opponent immediately afterward. Commenting on the situation, the American didn't mince words and mocked the Russian's actions.
