Josh Hokit continues his quest for prominence in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). After engaging in provocations with Ilia Topuria and Alex Poatan during the UFC White House press conference and exchanging barbs with Paulo Borrachinha backstage at UFC 328 , the American has turned his attention to Khamzat Chimaev , who recently lost the middleweight title to Sean Strickland.
In a social media post, Hokit ignored the weight class difference and suggested a possible confrontation, adopting a provocative tone by stating that his rival could make weight at any weight, as long as he was willing to prove who would back down first in a potential duel.

After a first round dominated by the Chechen, the scenario changed in the second round, when the American began to gain the upper hand, especially in the striking exchanges.
