Adriano Moraes starred in a moment that was, to say the least, unusual at the first Netflix MMA event, held this Saturday (16). The Brazilian, who was scheduled on the preliminary card of the event that marks Ronda Rousey 's return in the main fight, fought a real three-round war. However, in the last second, he locked in a rear-naked choke that knocked out his rival — the submission was only confirmed after video review by the judges.

The unusual moment began when the final ten seconds were announced. Both fighters advanced, trying to impress the judges, but after a collision in the center of the octagon, Nkuta fell. Moraes quickly seized the opportunity, took his back, and locked in the decisive rear-naked choke.
