Arman Tsarukyan He almost caused a general commotion at the Netflix MMA event, held last Saturday (16), in California (USA). The Armenian got angry after being provoked by Namo Fazil after the athlete's victory over Jake Babian in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg) and had to be restrained by security guards when he tried to invade the area near the hexagon.
It all started after Namo Fazil finished Jake Babian with a triangle choke at 4:02 of the second round., closing the preliminary card of the event. Still inside the cage, during an interview with journalist Ariel Helwani, the fighter took the opportunity to challenge Tsarukyan in front of the audience.

Tsarukyan, who was in the arena watching David Mgoyan's victory at the event, didn't like the attitude. Shortly after, when Fazil was passing near where the Armenian was watching the fights, things got heated. Known for his explosive temper, Arman even shook the athlete's hand, but then tried to jump the security fence to go towards his rival, but was stopped by the security guards present.

Tension continued backstage at the arena. Videos that were released on social media showed Tsarukyan being instructed to return to his seat or leave the event, while Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), tried to control the situation and prevent the argument from escalating into physical aggression.

How was Namo Fazil's fight at the Netflix MMA event?
Responsible for closing the preliminary card of the first MMA event on Netflix, Namo Fazil defeated Jake Babian by submission in the second round after applying a well-executed triangle choke. The athlete started the fight relying on intense striking and maintained the pressure for much of the bout.
In the second round, Fazil changed his strategy, took the fight to the ground, and found space to secure a submission at 4:02 of the second round, forcing Babian to tap out. With this result, Namo achieved his tenth career victory, while Jake Babian suffered his first defeat after a streak of six consecutive wins.
