Even while acknowledging Ilia Topuria 's talent , the interim lightweight champion (70,3 kg), Justin Gaethje , made it clear that he doesn't intend to hold back in the fight that headlines UFC Casa Branca , an event scheduled for June 14th in Washington DC (USA). Known for his aggressive style and bloody battles in the octagon, the American promises to hurt the undisputed champion's face.
In an interview with the YouTube channel Grind City Media, Gaethje praised his opponent's technical skill but expressed complete confidence in his team's work to find a path to victory. Possessing one of the most violent styles in MMA, the veteran intends to repeat the same script that made him one of the most feared fighters in the organization.

“I know he’s very good, but I’m here for a reason. Because I’m one of the best in the world. I’m going to fight an incredible guy, but I have a great coach and we’re going to develop a strategy. I’m going to change his approach, just like I do with all my opponents,” declared the veteran.
The statement further heightened anticipation for the duel, which pits two of the event's most popular and knockout-prone athletes against each other.
