Renato Moicano , it seems, does not approve of holding duels between veterans in the UFC. This Wednesday (27), the announcement of the fight between Glover Teixeira and Maurício Shogun as the main attraction of Spaten Fight Night 3, scheduled for August 29, surprised fans. Despite having promoted fights considered questionable in the first edition of his event, held last Saturday (23), 'Money' ironically signaled that putting retired athletes back into action may exceed the acceptable limit.
In a social media post, Moicano criticized the matchup, indicating that not even his organization would risk putting two historical names like Glover and Shogun against each other.

Spaten Fight Night is back, this time with a heavyweight duel between former UFC champions. After delighting Brazilian audiences with the rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen , as well as the war between Wanderlei Silva and Acelino Popó , the event arrives at its third edition with Glover Teixeira , 46, facing Maurício Shogun , 44.
The clash between the former UFC champions will be fought under boxing rules, in eight two-minute rounds.
