VIDEO UFC Macau Weigh-in: Separated! Deiveson makes weight and clashes with rival; Brazilian Squad confirms fights

Held in the early hours of Friday (29), the official weigh-in for UFC Macau caused quite a stir, mainly because of Deiveson Figueiredo and Song Yadong . In total, all 26 fighters made weight. However, the main event fighters, who will be fighting this Saturday (30) in China, almost brought forward the main fight during the face-off and had to be restrained by the company's security team.

It's no secret that Deiveson, 38, and former flyweight champion (up to 57 kg), has been struggling to cut weight in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg). But this time, the Brazilian, despite being lean, appeared healthier on the scale, weighing in at 61,4 kg. Meanwhile, Song, the home athlete, looked enthusiastic and weighed in at 61,6 kg.

But things heated up during the face-off. Hungry for a fight, Song went after Deiveson, in a clear attempt to intimidate him. A veteran of combat sports, the Brazilian didn't shy away from the clash with his rival and became agitated. Sensing the tension, Mick Maynard, the company's matchmaker, and two security guards separated the protagonists of UFC Macau , preventing something worse from happening.
