A true tragedy occurred in Canada, claiming the life of an MMA fighter. In May, Hrishikesh Koloth suffered a rare and devastating bear attack in the province of Saskatchewan and died at the age of 27.
The information was released by the Canadian broadcaster 'CBC' last Wednesday (27). According to the report, the Indian man was surprised by the animal when he was working as a technician at a uranium mining site. Upon witnessing the fateful episode, a man shot and killed the black bear.

According to Arjun, his younger brother moved to Canada in 2023 seeking better conditions and to pursue his dream of fighting in the UFC. With this incident, Koloth became the fourth fatal bear attack victim in the province's history, the last one occurring in 2020.

Hrishikesh Koloth began his MMA career over a decade ago. In the sport, the amateur fighter built a record of one win and three losses. In grappling, the Indian fighter racked up three victories. 'Rishi's' last fight was in February.
