What was once strong speculation has now become reality. Arman Tsarukyan and Colby Covington , two of the biggest stars of RAF, one of the world's leading wrestling organizations, will face each other on July 18 in Milwaukee (USA). The company itself announced the long-awaited fight last Saturday (30), during its ninth edition, in Dallas.
Furthermore, Tsarukyan and Covington performed on the mat and confirmed their status as favorites. The Armenian, ranked second in the UFC lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), shone against Keelon Jimison and won by technical superiority (16 x 5). Meanwhile, the controversial 'Chaos', former interim welterweight champion (up to 77,1 kg) and three-time challenger for the undisputed title, overcame Chris Weidman in a true battle (5 x 4).

After winning at RAF 9, Covington challenged Tsarukyan, who returned to the mat, resulting in their first promotional face-off. Facing each other, the athletes, who were already on a collision course, exchanged taunts. Since both are undefeated in the organization, many consider the main event of RAF 11 to be the biggest in its history.
“Arman, you’re a spoiled brat. Fuel up your dad’s jet and bring that little Jezebel Nina Drama. See you in Milwaukee on July 18th,” the American yelled.
“I’m going to beat him up. I’m going to show who’s the best wrestler in MMA on the mat. Colby, you fought so badly. When we wrestle, be prepared because I don’t want easy money,” said the Armenian.
