The biggest MMA organization on the planet returns to its headquarters in Las Vegas to promote a series of special fights starting at 6pm this Saturday (18). Direct from the Meta Apex, Gabriel Marretinha has the opportunity to enter the top 5 of the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg) when he faces former champion Belal Muhammad in the main fight of UFC Vegas 118 , scheduled for five rounds.

While Marretinha hasn't lost since 2023, Muhammad's situation is completely different. After being dethroned by Jack Della Maddalena and then defeated by Ian Garry , the former champion finds himself defending his top 5 ranking in the division against the prospect.

In addition to Marretinha, the preliminary card features seven representatives from Brazil. Alessandro 'Nono' Costa faces veteran Matt Schell in a catchweight bout at 58,9 kg. Furthermore, Joanderson Tubarão takes on Jordan Leavitt in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg); Priscila Pedrita faces Chelsea Chandler in the same category, while Bruno Bulldog shares the octagon with Mexican Edgar Chairez in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg).

Fans will also have a Brazilian duel in the first event, with Ketlen Souza facing Ariane Carnelossi in the strawweight category (up to 52,1 kg). Following that, Jeisla Chaves makes her debut in the organization against Yuneisy Duben in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg).
