Iwo Baraniewski impressed in the octagon again and defended his undefeated record in MMA. At UFC Vegas 118 , an event held this Saturday (6), the Pole made short work of Junior Tafa and needed less than two minutes to knock him out. Now, the athlete, riding a three-fight winning streak in the octagon, is very close to joining the top-15 of the light heavyweights (up to 93 kg).

Discovered through the Contender Series program, 27-year-old Baraniewski is a promising fighter in the UFC. The Polish fighter began his MMA career in 2023 and debuted in the organization in 2025. In the sport, he has built a record of nine wins, all by stoppage (seven by knockout and two by submission) and in the first round.

Iwo is not just a knockout collector. The Pole is used to quickly destroying his opponents. Against Tafa, the cold and calculating athlete repeated the script.

Respecting his opponent's striking, Iwo, after receiving a dangerous overhand, landed a powerful low kick. Seeing that Tafa reacted poorly to the blow, the Pole unleashed another. With the New Zealander on the ground, the athlete finished the job with a series of punches.
