Alessandro Costa is not willing to refuse a fight in the Ultimate octagon. The Brazilian was in action at UFC Vegas 118 , held last Saturday (6), and had his arm raised after a brutal knockout over Matt Schnell . The performance puts him on the radar for a possible entry into the flyweight division ranking (up to 56,7 kg), a position that, by all indications, does not cause him any apprehension.

In an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS , Alessandro Costa discussed his recent journey in the UFC and stated that he doesn't choose his opponents. The fighter highlighted that he has already faced highly ranked athletes and that he is willing to face any challenge that brings him closer to a title fight.

“In my UFC debut, I fought Amir Albazi , who was ranked number eight at the time. I also had the opportunity to fight Steve Erceg , and it was a great fight. So I've already faced some of the guys who are ranked there, those who have already fought for the belt as well. And I don't have a specific name to say 'I want to fight him'. Whoever is in my path, I'll accept the fight,” said Alessandro Costa.

With his victory over Matt Schnell , Alessandro Costa reached his 16th career win, his fourth in the UFC octagon, all by knockout.
