Dana White does not intend to take seriously the provocations made by Sean Strickland . Recently, the middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) criticized the organization and stated that he had been banned from attending UFC Casa Branca , a historic event scheduled for next Sunday (14). The situation, however, was treated with irony by the manager, who preferred to adopt a relaxed tone instead of directly refuting the fighter's statements.

In a press conference, the UFC president responded humorously, sarcastically suggesting that Strickland would be 'banned,' expanding the joke by saying that the athlete would be excluded not only from the event but from any social interaction, after making it clear that he did not wish to be present.

“Of course he’s not… Sean Strickland is banished from humanity, we don’t want him near any human being anywhere. He made it clear he didn’t want to be here and now, apparently, he’s banished,” said Dana White.

Brazil will be represented at UFC Casa Branca . In the co-main event, Alex Poatan attempts an unprecedented feat. The former middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) champion is seeking the interim heavyweight (up to 120 kg) title against Frenchman Ciryl Gane.

Besides Poatan, Mauricio Ruffy and Diego Lopes are the other Brazilian athletes on the card. They face Michael Chandler and Steve Garcia , respectively.
