UFC Casa Branca is such a special and unique event that it will not only give fighters unprecedented visibility. At the pre-show press conference, held this Friday (12), in Washington (USA), Dana White announced that the top performers will be rewarded with a gigantic bonus.

Without mincing words, the UFC president, excited about the event celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence and President Donald Trump's birthday, announced that the 'Performance of the Night' bonus will be $425 (approximately R$2,1 million at the current exchange rate) and the 'Fight of the Night' bonus will be $400 (approximately R$2 million) for each of the fighters involved. It's worth noting that the prize money was adjusted specifically for this event.

Therefore, after the UFC White House event , the post-event bonus will return to $100 (approximately R$ 506). Interestingly, fighters began earning this amount this season, more precisely in January at UFC 324, which was the first event of the year and marked the beginning of the company's partnership with Paramount. In the past, athletes who won these bonuses earned $50 (approximately R$ 253).

“World Liberty Financial will be the main sponsor and will add another $250 (approximately R$1,2 million) to the bonuses for the fighters. So, the two athletes who win the fight of the night award will each receive $400. The two fighters who win the performance bonus will each receive $425. Congratulations to all. Brazil will be heavily represented at UFC Casa Branca . In the co-main event, Alex Poatan attempts an unprecedented feat. The former middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) champion seeks the interim heavyweight (up to 120 kg) title against Ciryl Gane.

Besides Poatan, Mauricio Ruffy and Diego Lopes are the other Brazilian athletes on the card. The pair will face Michael Chandler and Steve Garcia , respectively.
