Mauricio Ruffy didn't even give Michael Chandler a chance at UFC Casa Branca , held this Sunday (14). The Brazilian faced the American on the card held on the lawn of the presidential residence and, still in the first round, delivered a brutal knockout after making his rival run inside the octagon.

With the victory, Mauricio Ruffy reached 14 wins in his career, 13 of them by knockout. Chandler, on the other hand, suffered his fourth consecutive defeat in the UFC octagon.
Ruffy dominates, chases down, and knocks out Chandler in the first round.
Ruffy started the fight cautiously, while Chandler relied on feints, low kicks, and even attempted a takedown, which was promptly defended by the Brazilian. With his greater reach, the former Fighting Nerds member began landing long straight punches, which were starting to bother his opponent.
Midway through the round, Ruffy attempted a spinning kick that missed, while Chandler tried to respond with a superman punch, also missing his target. Following that, the Brazilian advanced, cornered the American, connected with a spinning kick to Chandler's guard, and followed up with a series of uppercuts.
Off balance, Chandler began running around the octagon trying to survive, while Ruffy hunted him down looking for the knockout. The Brazilian landed another spinning kick that stunned his rival and, soon after, another uppercut that sent the American to the ground, sealing the victory in a resounding fashion.
