Mauricio Ruffy took advantage of the spotlight at UFC Casa Branca , held this Sunday (14), to star in a cinematic moment in the octagon. The Brazilian faced the American on the card held on the lawn of the presidential residence and, although the crowd was in favor of the home athlete, he finished the duel in the first round.

The decisive blow came in the early stages, when Ruffy landed a straight punch that left Chandler unbalanced. Following that, the Brazilian chased his opponent around the octagon until landing a spinning kick, followed by a series of uppercuts, sealing the victory decisively.

With the victory, Mauricio Ruffy reached 14 wins in his career, 13 of them by knockout. Chandler, on the other hand, suffered his fourth consecutive defeat in the UFC octagon.
