Melquizael Costa experienced firsthand the saying 'one day you're the hunter, the next you're the hunted' at UFC Casa Branca . At the event held last Sunday (14), in Washington (USA), Alex Poatan suffered a crushing defeat to Ciryl Gane in his heavyweight debut (up to 120 kg), losing via knockout in the second round. As the company star had previously provoked him, the athlete simply got his revenge.

The rivalry between the Brazilians began after Poatan disapproved of a comment Melk made, in which he stated that he wouldn't be a match for Jon Jones in a hypothetical UFC superfight. Upset, the veteran complained and, in May, after Melk's loss to Arnold Allen , posted an image praising one of his sponsors at a moment when he was at a disadvantage in the fight.

Now, the new lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) fighter has returned the favor. The athlete praised the company 'Rumble', a video-sharing platform rival to 'YouTube', by posting an image of the renowned striker receiving a 'squeeze' from 'Bon Gamin'. Immediately, Poatan's fans were angered by Melk's action, who ignored the criticism.

"Rumble, you're amazing. We could team up," the wrestler wrote on his official 'X' account.
