I think it needs no explanation. If the Tom aspinall To return, he will have to fight against Cyryl Gane"Pereira is going to need someone to fight and I'm ready," the American stated during the press conference held after the event.
The demonstration comes right after one of the most memorable moments in Poatan's career. The Brazilian entered the co-main event seeking a historic feat, but ended up defeated in his attempt to win the interim heavyweight title. Even with the setback, the former middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) champion remains one of the organization's biggest stars and continues to be surrounded by potential opponents interested in sharing the octagon with him.
For Hokit, challenging the Brazilian also represents an opportunity to gain visibility in one of the most competitive weight classes in the UFC. Although the American has made his willingness to fight clear, there has been no indication from the organization about a possible bout between the two. Even so, the statement adds another name to the list of athletes interested in facing the two-time champion after his defeat at the White House.
