One of the most humble fighters MMA has ever produced, Charles do Bronx once again showed great sportsmanship. In the main event of UFC Casa Branca , held last Sunday (14) in Washington (USA), Ilia Topuria was surprised by Justin Gaethje and suffered his first defeat in the sport in a cruel way, via the corner's withdrawal. Seeing his tormentor in terrible condition, the Brazilian made a point of showing his solidarity.
The former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) and current holder of the 'BMF' belt (baddest motherfucker in the UFC) encouraged the Georgian to turn his career around. Interestingly, Charles was brutally knocked out by Topuria in the first round in June 2025. However, unlike Arman Tsarukyan , Islam Makhachev , and Paddy Pimblett , the Brazilian is rooting for 'El Matador's' recovery and believes he will be even more dangerous, living up to his nickname.
