FBI claims to have prevented terrorist attack during UFC White House; President Trump jokes.

UFC Casa Branca was a milestone in the organization's history, but a real tragedy could have happened, and not because of the weather. In fact, the worst was only avoided because the FBI, the main federal intelligence and law enforcement agency in the United States, stepped in and managed to thwart a potential terrorist attack threat before the historic and media-covered event held last Sunday (14), in Washington (USA). The information was released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation itself this Tuesday (16).

According to a report by 'Fox News', the alleged attack would be carried out using drones loaded with explosives and would target buildings near the event. Amid the chaos, elite snipers would be positioned in strategic locations to begin firing at the crowd of fans and performers, as well as at the gates of the White House.

In turn, the FBI reported that 23 individuals were identified as members of a conspiracy network and five suspects were detained. The agency's director and UFC fan, Kash Patel, detailed that the situation had been monitored since last Wednesday (10). In any case, despite the worrying scenario, Donald Trump, President of the United States, still joked when questioned about the episode.

“I hadn’t heard of that. The attack I saw was from the fighters. They were fights as good as any I’ve ever seen, the best. The last one was brutal, all the fights were good. Everything was fine, it was a great night, very different for the White House,” said the US president during an event in France on Tuesday.
