Alex Poatán demonstrated strong indignation at the referee's performance after the defeat to Cyryl Gane No. UFC White House, held last Sunday (14). The Brazilian faced the Frenchman in the co-main event and ended up being knocked out in the second round, after a sequence of blows that, in his opinion, were illegal. To support the claim, the former champion published an image of his own neck with visible bruises in the post-fight period.
In the caption of the post, Poatan defended a collective reaction from athletes in the face of refereeing errors, stating that this type of situation will only change when the fighters themselves take a stand against referees who make similar mistakes.

"This will only change when the fighters fight to remove the referee who makes this type of mistake. Let's prevent it before it happens to you! We have the strength to do it! I guarantee it," he wrote. Alex Poatán.
