Alex Poatan reveals he spoke with lawyers about the UFC White House controversy: 'The bill will come due'

Alex Poatan is prepared to use all possible resources to hold Herb Dean accountable in the UFC. The Brazilian was knocked out by Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC Casa Branca after suffering blows he considers illegal. Unhappy with the refereeing, he argues that the referee should be punished for not properly fulfilling his role during the fight.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Poatan stated that, after all the controversy and his public stance, there has been no contact with the UFC. However, he revealed that he recently spoke with his manager, Jorge Guimarães, and indicated that measures are already being planned. According to the fighter, his legal team has been contacted and there is an intention to take the case further.

“After all this controversy, after I spoke out, we didn’t talk to the UFC, but yesterday I had a conversation with my manager, Joinha, and we’re definitely going to do something. I’m already talking to the lawyers, with the whole team, and the bill will definitely come due,” said Alex Poatan.
