Alex Poatan 's defeat to Ciryl Gane continues to reverberate beyond the octagon and is taking on new developments. The Brazilian was knocked out by the Frenchman in the co-main event of UFC Casa Branca , in a fight marked by controversy, as the former champion claims to have suffered illegal blows. Although the episode directly involved only the fighters and referee Herb Dean, the situation also affected singer Ricardo Janderson, known on social media for being identified as the 'Bom Menino' lookalike, who claims to be receiving threats after the fight's outcome.

In posts on his Instagram stories, Ricardo Janderson reported that he became the target of threats shortly after the fight. The singer asked the profiles that shared his videos to help clarify the situation for the public and reiterated that he has no connection whatsoever to what happened.

“I am being threatened by some people for reasons that are not my responsibility. For something that started as a joke and that is taking on an undue proportion, they used my image and some videos on news pages of fight fans, even from France, because I look like a fighter from abroad who has a good track record and beat Alex Poatan . I ask that the pages that shared my videos please help me to make it clear that I have nothing to do with this,” said Ricardo Janderson.

The artist also stated that he was surprised to receive aggressive messages from people who, according to him, cannot distinguish reality from fiction. Janderson further emphasized that he is neither an MMA fighter nor a lookalike of anyone, lamented the lack of professional recognition, and revealed that he already faces frequent episodes of homophobia, a scenario that, according to him, made the situation even more difficult in light of the recent threats.

“I’ve been on the internet for so long and I can’t change my life. I don’t have the financial means to invest in the things I’ve been doing for so many years, like singing and doing female voices, and out of nowhere I come across messages from people who can’t separate reality from fantasy! I have nothing to do with what happened to Alex Poatan, I’m not an MMA fighter, nor am I anyone’s lookalike! I have my work, which for so many reasons I’m never recognized for, I already suffer homophobia every day, and out of nowhere I start receiving threats! For God’s sake, it’s really difficult,” concluded the singer.
