Alex Poatan barely performed at UFC Casa Branca and is already wanting to return to the octagon. In the grand and historic event held last Sunday (14), in Washington (USA), the Brazilian left much to be desired and was brutally knocked out by Ciryl Gane in the second round. Determined to erase the bad impression left in his heavyweight debut (up to 120,2 kg), the veteran has already listed two targets for his next fight.
Displeased with the tough defeat suffered against the Frenchman, Poatan guaranteed that he will continue competing in the category and openly expressed his desire to face him again. However, if the UFC has different plans for Gane, the Brazilian, seeking redemption, showed himself open to fighting the controversial Josh Hokit , who has been harassing and pursuing him. In fact, the former champion is not at all impressed with his rival, who is undefeated in MMA and knocked out Derrick Lewis at the White House.

“It doesn’t matter to me. As I said from the beginning, my contract is signed. Whoever the UFC wants to put in, I’ll fight, I’m not going to choose. They can put whoever they want in. Look, he won, but, look, both of them got tired very quickly, you know? So, I see many things there that favored me a lot,” said the former UFC champion in an interview with the YouTube channel 'The Ariel Helwani Show'.
