Jean Silva is not happy about Diego Lopes potentially moving up a weight class in the UFC. Having lost to 'Franja' at UFC Noche in September 2025, the 'Pitbull of Fighting Nerds' believes he's close to having a major rematch against his compatriot. Given the signs that 'El Brabo' might move up to lightweight (up to 70,3 kg), the Brazilian is trying to convince him to stay in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg).
In an interview with the 'Full Send' channel, Jean Silva stated that the rematch between the two has the potential to be one of the biggest of the year. Furthermore, 'Lord' warned that a possible move to the lightweight division could bring difficulties for his rival, indicating that the scenario in the higher weight class tends to be more challenging.
