Fake! Jamahal Hill Reveals That 'Fight' With Alex Poatan At UFC PI Was Staged: 'We Planned That'

Former light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg), Jamahal Hill made a surprising revelation about Alex Poatan . In December 2024, the rivals clashed at the UFC Performance Institute, located in Las Vegas (USA), and almost came to blows right there. The video of the 'fight' between the rivals quickly went viral. However, the American opened up about the episode, explaining that the atmosphere wasn't that tense.

In an interview with the YouTube channel 'Home of Fight', Hill, without mincing words, revealed that the altercation with the Brazilian was orchestrated by them. In the recording, the American, upon seeing Poatan at the UFC Performance Institute, approached him and began provoking him. In response, the renowned striker threw a pair of gloves at his rival, intending to settle their differences.

There was the video, but I said it wasn’t a big deal. We planned that. It was to try and create hype for a fight between us,” said the former UFC champion.

Jamahal Hill , 35, is a former UFC light heavyweight champion. The American began his MMA career in 2017 and made his UFC debut in 2020. He is currently ranked fifth in the division.
