As one of the most powerful names in combat sports, it's natural that Dana White has accumulated enemies after more than 20 years at the helm of the Ultimate. In this context, Eddie Hearn has been gaining more and more space. A boxing promoter and fierce critic of UFC internal politics, the Englishman drew attention by showing his discontent with Michael Bisping 's statements regarding Tom Aspinall , who has been away from the octagon since the injury suffered against Ciryl Gane . He spoke about the subject during an appearance on 'The Ariel Helwani Show' last Wednesday (24).
According to Hearn, several of the Ultimate's policies are abusive and disrespectful to fighters, so Bisping should take a stand against them, especially since he is a former athlete. In this context, he even challenged the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) to a public debate, aiming to expose the contradictions in the Englishman's discourse.
