The major event held at the White House continues to generate financial gains for the UFC, even almost two weeks after it took place. In this context, the stool used by Ilia Topuria between rounds in his first professional loss to Justin Gaethje is being auctioned off by the company on its official website. Minimum bids have exceeded US$11 (more than R$57 at the current exchange rate).
The auction of the item is drawing attention. It was while sitting on the bench that the Georgian/Spanish fighter's brother and coach decided he was no longer able to continue the fight with Gaethje, announcing the end of the fight at the end of the fourth round, marking one of the biggest upsets in the organization's history.

Shortly after the match, the Georgian/Spanish player spoke publicly for the first time. He acknowledged his rival's merits but said he was ready to begin the arduous journey of recovery to seek revenge against Destaque.
“Justin, congratulations. You said you’d leave your mark on my face… and you did. You took the sight out of my right eye in the first round and, at the end of the second, out of my left as well. No excuses. I had one of the best camps of my life. I went in sharp, prepared, and ready. Last night was yours. That’s the nature of this game. Glory and pain walk side by side,” he declared in a social media post.
