Jean Silva already has a well-defined plan to seek revenge against Diego Lopes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The Fighting Nerds representative was knocked out by his compatriot at Noche UFC in September 2025, and now he's betting on winning the belt against Alexander Volkanovski as a way to lure his rival and settle the score in the octagon.
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Jean made it clear that he does not intend to fight Diego Lopes before competing for the title. Confident, 'Lord' sees winning the belt as the next step in his career and states that, after achieving this goal, he intends to offer his compatriot an opportunity for a rematch.

"Are you asking if I would fight Diego Lopes and then compete for the belt? No. Actually, I'm going to win that belt. I'm going to take that belt and, after that, I'll give a title shot to..."
"Diego in a rematch. … I'm next in line for the title. I'm the next one who's going to win that belt. I'm going to bring that belt back to Brazil. Hunter is helping me with that. My manager is helping me too. Dana too," said Jean Silva.
Subsequently, Jean Silva indicated that he sees a path being built in his favor within the organization. He believes it's unlikely that Movsar Evloev will face Volkanovski before the end of the year, especially given the champion's expressed interest in returning during that period.
“You can see the path they are laying out for me. They are giving me this path. I've said this before: I think the chances of Evloev fighting Volkanovski by the end of the year, when Volk has already said he wants a fight, are slim. If Volk wants to fight someone, I'll be ready to face him,” concluded 'Lord'.
