Michal Oleksiejczuk is having a great run in the Ultimate and credits the moment to the Fighting Nerds team. Scheduled to face Abus Magomedov at UFC Baku , scheduled for next Saturday (27), the Pole was on a three-fight losing streak before moving to the Brazilian team, where he has now accumulated three consecutive wins.
In an interview with UFC News, the fighter explained that the team change happened after the fight with Caio Borralho , when he understood that it was time to seek a change of scenery. With a plan in place, he chose São Paulo because he identified in the team a striking style similar to his own, based on movement and volume of strikes.

“After my fight with Caio Borralho , I think it was time to change teams, and I had a plan: I wanted to go to São Paulo because this academy has a striking style very similar to mine. I like to move around, I like to exchange blows, and I think this decision is the best decision of my life because now I have three (consecutive) wins, and I have the opportunity to achieve another one,” said Michal Oleksiejczuk.
Oleksiejczuk also emphasized that he has ambitious goals within the organization and intends to reach the top of the category. According to him, the environment at Fighting Nerds has been fundamental in this process, offering positive energy and confidence in his abilities.
“I have plans. I want to reach the top, and this academy, this group gives me a lot of positive energy; the whole team believes in my abilities. I think this fight shows my new skill, and I am very grateful to this team for their work, and now I am ready,” concluded the Polish fighter from Fighting Nerds.
