Representing Azerbaijan, the fighter dominated Eric Nolan with a wrestling-based performance and finished the fight very close to a historic record in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg), registering the second-highest number of takedowns in a single fight in the category.
At 30 years old, Hasanov arrived at the organization surrounded by expectation after a stint in LFA. A member of American Top Team and undefeated in professional MMA, the Azerbaijani maintained his perfect record and now has six wins in six fights in professional MMA. From the start, the home athlete imposed his game; in the first round, Nolan managed to get back up after a few takedowns, but couldn't withstand the constant pressure. The home athlete insisted on takedown attempts until he took control of the fight.
In the second round, the Azerbaijani fighter again took down his opponent in the opening minutes and landed some good ground and pound strikes.
