Max Holloway has guaranteed he will be in top physical condition to face Conor McGregor at UFC 329 , scheduled for July 11th. The Hawaiian will face the Irishman in the main event, in a rematch planned for the welterweight division (up to 77 kg), two weight classes above featherweight (up to 65,7 kg), where he built most of his career. Recently, an image in which the fighter appeared overweight circulated on social media, generating repercussions among fans.
In an interview with the 'Spinnin' Backfist' channel, Holloway clarified that the image is nothing more than a montage made by artificial intelligence. The former champion expressed surprise at the repercussion of the content, although he acknowledged that the editing was convincing.
“I can’t believe people think this is real… It was pretty good, though. I’m not going to lie,” said Max Holloway.

Holloway takes a jab at McGregor and demands his presence at UFC 329.
Although confident of victory, Max Holloway expresses skepticism regarding Conor McGregor 's presence at UFC 329. This is because, in his last attempt to return to the octagon, the Irishman ended up out of the fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 , held in June 2024.
In an interview with MMA Junkie, the Hawaiian made an appeal for McGregor to attend the event and fulfill his commitment, regardless of the circumstances.
