It seems that the intense rivalry between José Aldo and Conor McGregor is indeed a thing of the past. On the eve of the Notorious' return to the world's most famous octagon in the main event of UFC 329 , the Brazilian does not seem to see a great imbalance in the duel with Max Holloway . In this context, he spoke about the subject in an interview with 'MMA Junkie' last Saturday (4).

According to the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg), although it is fair to see Holloway as the most likely winner of the confrontation, the chances of a victory for the Irishman next Saturday (11) are greater when compared to other duels he has already fought in the Ultimate.

McGregor's rise to fame in the MMA world was also the biggest defeat of Aldo's career. The Brazilian was brutally knocked out in just 13 seconds in the main event of UFC 194 in December 2015. He regained the featherweight title (up to 65,7 kg) the following year, but his reign ended a second time when he was stopped by Holloway, who also finished the fight by knockout. The two faced each other again, with the same result and in favor of the Hawaiian.
