UFC champion regrets criticism of Dustin Poirier: 'Not everyone is a jerk'

Sean Strickland went back on its word after criticize Dustin poirier due to recent problems involving the former UFC lightweight champion. This Tuesday (07), the holder of the middleweight belt (up to 83,9 kg) commented on the arrest of his compatriot after a commotion at the airport and stated that the 'Diamond' would have no reason to be depressed. Shortly afterwards, however, the fighter acknowledged that he had been unfair in his statements.

In a social media post, Strickland admitted he misjudged the situation and apologized to Poirier. The American stated he regretted his comments and showed support for his rival, also pointing out that Dustin deserves help during this difficult time.
