One of the most successful names in MMA history, the Notorious revealed that the passion and desire to compete in combat sports has literally accompanied him since the day he came into this world. In an interview with 'TNT Sports UFC', he amused viewers by telling a story about the day he was born.

According to the Irishman, the way his hands were positioned at the moment he was born was similar to how fighters traditionally guard themselves in order to defend against attacks from their opponents. For him, it ended up being a glimpse of the future.

“I came out of my mother like this (makes the gesture). The midwife said, 'Your son is going to be a fighter.' That's a true story. I don't remember it being that long ago, but I was already fighting to get out and earn my place. So that's it, fighting since forever,” he said, laughing.

McGregor's instincts will need to be on fire this Saturday (11). The former featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) champion returns to the world's most famous octagon for the first time in five years, having Max Holloway as an opponent, in a duel valid for the welterweight category (up to 77,1 kg). The two have already faced each other in 2013, with the Irishman coming out on top and winning by unanimous decision. Since then, both have become legends of the sport.
