Cody Garbrandt suffered another defeat in the Ultimate octagon. In a terrible phase in the organization, the former champion faced Adrian Yanez on the preliminary card of UFC 329 , held this Saturday (11), and even managed to scare with an initial blitz before being brutally knocked out.

Cody Garbrandt started the fight by closing the distance and going on the offensive with a blitz, but Adrian Yanez defended well. Subsequently, the American began to dictate the pace, controlling the center of the cage and forcing exchanges of blows. More precise, Yanez landed hard punches that rocked the former champion, taking him to the canvas before referee Herb Dean stopped the fight.
