Even after sharing the octagon with the best names of his generation, Alex Poatan 's main rival at the moment seems to be Herb Dean, and anyone else who disagrees with his opinions. Right after posting a video of Michel Pereira 's best moments on his Instagram on Tuesday night (14) and blaming the referee for the dismissal of the Flying Paraense, the former middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) champion got involved in a spat with one of his followers.
The fan commented on the post that the Ultimate's decision not to renew Michel's contract was probably an old one, and not necessarily motivated solely by the controversial defeat against Shara Magomedov in the co-main event of UFC Baku . Annoyed, Poatan responded ironically, making a joke about the fact that the internet user works as a salesman at a motorcycle dealership.

This is not the first time that the Pataxó Indian has been involved in online discussions. Recently, he also exchanged barbs with influencer Igor Serafini through social media, after the content creator disagreed with claims that Ciryl Gane had landed a lucky punch during the UFC at the White House. On that occasion, the former king of the light heavyweight category (up to 93 kg) decided to address the issue by highlighting his bank balance.
