One of the most dynamic and technical names in all of MMA, Michael Page already has a date to return to the most famous octagon in the world. Nicknamed 'New Anderson Silva ' since his debut in the sport, MVP will face Uzbek Nursulton Ruziboev at the next UFC event in France, scheduled to take place on September 5th in Paris. The duel, valid for the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg.) was announced by the Ultimate itself on social media this Wednesday (15).
Despite having spent most of his time competing in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg), Page has had no problem venturing into the higher weight class. Undefeated at 84 kg, he has beaten prominent names such as Jared Cannonier , a former title challenger. On the other hand, with 50 professional fights, Ruziboev is coming off three consecutive victories, the last one against the Russian Andrey Pulyaev.

The new Anderson Silva has only lost once in the UFC.
Despite having built most of his career in Bellator and turning 39 at the beginning of 2026, Michael Page 's trajectory in the UFC has been very successful. He is currently on a three-fight winning streak and hasn't lost since June 2024, when he was defeated by Ian Garry by unanimous decision.
Despite this, he has been quite vocal in criticizing the Ultimate's payment policy and the difficulty in finding opponents, which could hinder his development within the company.
