Valter Walker continues his unstoppable run in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg) of the world's largest MMA organization. At UFC Abu Dhabi , an event held this Saturday (25), the Brazilian confirmed his favoritism in impressive fashion against Thomas Petersen , winning by submission in just over a minute of fighting. Due to his performance, the bad boy won one of the 'Performance of the Night' bonuses.
The organization announced the prizes shortly after the event. Therefore, Valter took home a check for $100 (approximately R$ 509 at the current exchange rate). And, unlike his last four fights, where he finished with a heel hook in the first round, this time the grappling specialist applied a calf lock on the defenseless American. Now, with five consecutive wins, the Brazilian has everything to join the top 10 of the prestigious category.

Just like the Brazilian, Ramazan Temirov was also awarded the 'Performance of the Night' bonus by the UFC. In the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg), the Uzbek fighter delivered a real beating to Steve Erceg , a former title challenger, and knocked him out in the first round.
Rizvan Kuniev and Tyrell Fortune delivered the 'Fight of the Night'. In the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg), the Russian was dominant and punished the American, who resisted as best he could and only succumbed in the third and final round, after receiving a series of powerful knee strikes.
Other bonuses
Because they won by stoppage, Abdul Hussein , Axel Sola , Muhammad Saidov , and Sam Patterson each earned a $25 bonus (approximately R$127 at the current exchange rate). Hussein submitted Cody Gibson in the third round, Sola submitted Ismael Bonfim in the first round, Saidov knocked out Dustin Jacoby in the second round, and Patterson knocked out Santiago Ponzinibbio in the second round.
